I have been playing Sins of a Solar Empire since 2008, There were always designs that stuck in my head. The Kol Battleship being the most prominent. With my take on the Kol Battleship I decided to take small calculated jumps in design over its predecessor. I added a rear retrieval hangar for strike craft. Exposed struts (inspired in part by Battlestar Galatica.) Physical engines, and an overall more rugged industrial design. Its weapon hardpoints have been slightly redesigned, and tweaked to match the aesthetic. In Universe this ship was the first real warship developed by the TEC in response to the Advent and Vasari onslaught. It emphasizes the TECs necessity to militarize quickly in response to an existential threat. This is my take on how that design could be tweaked to match that mindset better.
